Snap shots from our Kite journey Finnmarksvidda

A snow kite experience 500 km above the Arctic Circle

Right now, I am out learning to master both wind and and snow kites upon the Arctic tundra of Finnmarksvidda in Finnmark, Norway.

Together with Gorm, 4 kites, two pulkas and a lot of good food, we are enjoying exciting weather, huge white open spaces of nature, solitude and adventure...
Here are just a few snaps so far.

Small aeroplanes take you to Finnmark

This is our adventure map: Finnmark, the very north of Norway

My second day on kite, great experiences, many bruises and mostly BIG smiles!

Digging and storm securing the camp, you never know when the storms hit in an area with no reception. And weather forecast changes quickly, we learnt that it is always better to be safe than sorry!...

Gorm ending a beautiful kiting day in the white upon Finnmark mountain plateau, our skis help to keep the tent in place.

Kiting is feeling air and Finnmark offers you to feel the beauty of a magical landscape

Stay tuned, there will be both a full story and great images coming up when we get back!

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL OF YOU!
